Tian Liang will use 109c and 5255d in 2004 Olympic Games

Chinadiving website news  -- In preparation for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Tian Liang, the 2000 Sydney Olympics Men’s 10 meter platform gold medalist, will add two most higher degree of difficulty dives on 10 meter platform list.

Tian Liang will use 109c, a front four and half somersaults in tuck position with degree of difficulty of 3.5 in replacing of 107b and 5255b, a back two and half somersaults with two and half twists with degree of difficulty of 3.8 instead of 5253b.  

Tian Liang captured the gold medal at the 2000 Olympic Games by using his old list, the 107b and 5237d, a relatively lower degree of difficulty two dives. He used the same list of lower degree of difficulty dive list at the 2003 World Championships and lost to both Canadian and Australian, he got only a bronze.

The increasing of higher degree of difficulty two new dives, the 109c and 5255b, Tian Liang will be the same if not gain more the advantage than his competitors in the aspect of degree of difficulty for his list.
